Dermaroller

What is Dermaroller™ treatment?

Dermaroller™ Therapy™ involves a sterile single-use medical device that produces thousands of needle columns in your skin. It works to reduce wrinkles and fine lines on your face and décolletage, to revitalise sun-damaged and aged skin, reduce scarring from acne, and rejuvenate your hands, minimising the signs of ageing.

Your IPSA skin clinic Dermaroller™ consultation

At your IPSA skin clinic, your IPSA skin specialist will work with you to decide on the best treatment approach for your skin. If the Dermaroller™ Therapy™ is the most appropriate treatment, then the procedure will be carried out in the quiet and confidential IPSA skin clinic by your skilled IPSA physician following your Dermaroller™ skin consultation.

What does the Dermaroller™ treatment involve?

Using the sterile (single-use) medical device, your IPSA physician will expertly deploy the Dermaroller™ to produce many thousands of micro-medical needle columns in your skin. Each column penetrates into the dermis of your skin and is approximately 0.1-mm wide. The column closes rapidly, thus allowing your skin to recover quickly (often on the same day as your treatment).

After undergoing the Dermaroller™ procedure, your body begins to naturally regenerate, repairing your skin by working below the skin surface in the dermis region. This does take time for the new collagen to be formed, for the new skin cells to be generated and for your blood supply to be enhanced. It can take as long as six weeks for you to notice the visible regeneration and repair signs. The healing process will continue over the following few months, eventually giving you both a natural and a long-lasting enhancement.

Benefits of Dermaroller™ treatment
