Wellwoman Health Check

Well woman check

Our well woman check comprises of a general health check up primarily focused on women’s health.

During the consultations we will assess your;

•  General health
• Medical queries
• Past medical history
• Medication review
• Family history
• Sexual and gynaecological history
• Risk factors for future illnesses
• During the examination we will assess
• Cardiovascular system
• Respiratory system
• Motor system, including joints and muscle
• Breast and Gynaecological examination
• Neurological system
• BP/BMI/Oxygen saturation
• Urine analysis for 8 elements

Investigations included in the well woman check will be the final indicator of overall health and well being, these blood tests will include;

• FBC
• Kidney function tests
• Liver function tests
• Full cholesterol screen with breakdown of hdl and ldl
• Glucose
• Thyroid

Our doctor will then discuss the results in detail on a face to face basis. If they are any abnormalities which need to be investigated further we will be point you in the right direction and fully support you through the process. If you require any prescriptions at the end of the consultation we can provide this for you immediately form our in-house pharmacy. Repeats for these can then be made available with the recommendation that you are reviewed every 6 months at IPSA.
